September 16: Historian of the Year Awards! Join us on Tuesday, September 16 to celebrate local historians from the past and present at the Annual Historian of the Year Awards. The event will take place at the Museum at 7:00pm. Refreshments will be provided.
October 4: Greenwood Cemetery Tour! Join Museum staff on Saturday, October 4, 2025, for a walking tour at Greenwood Cemetery in Michigan City! Tours will disembark at 12:00, 2:00, and 4:00 at Greenwood Cemetery located at 153 Tilden Street in Michigan City. Tickets cost $5.00 per person. Current Society Members of the La Porte County Historical Society may take the tour free of charge. Tickets can be bought on our website. A limited amount of tickets are available so purchase your ticket before they are sold out!
