America A-Z Exhibit! 2026 marks the Semi-Quincentennial, or the 250th Anniversary, of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. With over 100 artifacts, this exhibit tells stories of the history of the nation, with a La Porte County twist. This exhibit will be on display for all of 2026.
Closes August 29: Postcards of La Porte County Exhibit! Vintage postcards from the Museum’s archives will be on display showing locations from all over the county. Messages written on the back in the early 1900s have been transcribed for you to enjoy!
August 20 – October 2: Traveling Exhibit ‘Faces of the Civil War’! This traveling exhibit from the Indiana Historical Society brings to life the stories of many Hoosiers whose lives were touched, and in some cases taken, by the Civil War.
