December 7: Holiday Artisan Fair! This year’s fair will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00am-3:00pm. Entrance to the fair will be by donation. There will be local artisans offering unique holiday gift items; ornaments, jewelry, scarves, original prints and cards, ceramics, candles, pottery, crochet, fiber art, resin art and more! It’s the perfect place to find a gift for someone who has everything.
December 13: Veteran Free Day! To honor National Guard Founding Day, all veterans and active duty military are welcome to come to the museum free of charge.
December 21: Night at the Giese Church! Join us on Saturday, December 21 from 6-8pm to see this amazing church that has been a holiday tradition in La Porte since 1947 and learn the history behind it! Admission to this event is by donation. Hot cocoa and cookies will be provided!
December 25: Museum Closed for Christmas Day
