We are excited to announce that the La Porte County Historical Society Museum is participating in the 10th Annual Cookie Walk! Come on down to the museum on December 10, from 10am to noon to get a cookie! Cookies will only be given to those who have the official Cookie Walk tin for 2022.
On Saturday, December 17th from 6-8pm, the La Porte County Historical Society Museum will be hosting the annual Night at the Giese Church! Come on down to see this amazing church that has been a holiday tradition in La Porte for decades and learn the history behind it! Admission to this event is by donation.

A new exhibit showcasing the famous War Reporter Ernie Pyle is now on display. He started his career in journalism working at the La Porte Weekly Herald in 1923. It is the 100th Anniversary of Ernie Pyle's career in journalism this January.
