Night at the Giese Church
On Saturday, December 20th from 6-8pm, the La Porte County Historical Society Museum will be hosting the annual Night at the Giese Church! Come on down to see this amazing church that has been a holiday tradition in La Porte for decades and learn the history behind it! Hot cocoa and cookies will be provided.

Documentary Showing at the Museum!
Join us on Saturday, April 4 at 2:00pm for a showing of the documentary 'Discovering Naomi Anderson' by Rana Segal! After the showing, there will be a Q & A session with Rana and others who were involved in the documentary. We hope everyone will be able to stop by to see this wonderful film
Children’s Storytime & Activity
Families are invited to join us on Saturday, April 18th at the Museum for story time and a hands-on activity at 10:30am! This is a FREE event and all ages are welcome! For April, children are going to learn about the 9-sided Door Prairie Barn that is next to the Museum.
Postcards of La Porte County Exhibit Opens
See a variety of vintage postcards in the Museum's collection and learn about the places around La Porte County that the postcards highlighted! This exhibit will be on display until August 29.
