Ernie Pyle Exhibit
A new exhibit showcasing the famous War Reporter Ernie Pyle is now on display. He started his career in journalism working at the La Porte Weekly Herald in 1923. It is the 100th Anniversary of Ernie Pyle's career in journalism this January.
New Gallery Wall Display
Come on down to the Museum to see the new gallery wall! Portraits from the museum's collection are displayed on the gallery wall. A binder is available to learn the stories behind these fascinating portraits.
Pioneer Land Spinners
On January 14th, from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm, the spinners from Pioneer Land will be spinning yarn from natural fibers at the Museum. They may even give you a try!These talented artisans usually spin in a barn at the La Porte County Fairgrounds, so it is a special opportunity to see them here! Come
