Plank Owner Program with Rich Mrozinski (2:00 pm at the Museum)
Rich Mrozinski will be unveiling two plank owner plaques from the USS Indianapolis and the Hoosier Boat at 2:00. Speeches from Rich and other vets will be part of the program. Historical Society Meeting (7:00 pm at the Museum)
Kirk Rogers, Co-President of the Michigan City Historical Society, will share his knowledge of the Old Lighthouse in Michigan City, lighthouse keeper Harriet Colfax, the pierhead light, the themes of rooms at the museum, and more interesting history of this unique landmark of La Porte County. Members and the public are invited to attend!
