Liam Hobbs is Assistant Principal and instructor of languages at Sacred Heart Apostolic School in Rolling Prairie. Mr. Hobbs grew up in rural Howard County and graduated from Wabash College in Crawfordsville. He started his education career in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Upon moving to LaPorte County in 2005, Mr. Hobbs was intrigued by the murals on the walls of the Rolling Prairie post office, which led him to begin studying local history. He has assembled a small archive of materials related to the property at Silver Lake, which five different educational institutions have called home over the past hundred years.
