La Porte County Veterans Exhibition Opens

From September 1 to November 19, a special exhibit of thirty-nine military uniforms and associated artifacts will be on display at the La Porte County Historical Society Museum! Uniforms from the Civil War, Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam War, Korean War, and Desert Storm/Gulf War will be displayed around the museum, along with a variety of other artifacts from each war. An exhibit catalog is available to learn more about the people who wore the uniforms on display. If you would like to take one home with you, we ask that you please give a donation on your way out.
