Historical Society Meeting (7:00 pm at the Museum)

Special guest speaker Greg Fruth will present a program on the 100th Anniversary of Football at La Porte High School. Although the first team was fielded in 1895, the sport was banned for 12 years because of the violence of the game. Learn how Theodore Roosevelt saved the game and many more fascinating facts about Slicer Football. Members and the public are invited to attend.
