Smith's Shoe Store, Michigan City

This photograph shows Smith's Shoe Store, which was listed at 917 Franklin Street in the 1952 Michigan City directory. They advertised the following brands: Nunn Bush, British Walkers, and Walk-Over Shoes. Marshall O. Smith was the owner, and L. H. Poel was the manager. The photograph appears to have been taken before the store was remodeled between October, 1950 and February, 1951.
